Direct Care Provider, Asheville

Direct Care Provider - This position will be providing services with a very capable, well-mannered young female with social and behavioral challenges. This would be a total of 15 hours per week providing Supported Employment services at her job. Hours will be 5 hours per day for 3 days per week. No weekend work! There is potential for more hours if interested.  $18.25 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License with Current Vehicle insurance
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to independently travel to assigned locations as needed
  • Able to work flexible hours according to the needs of the services and individuals

Direct Care Provider, Marion

Direct Care Provider - This position provides support services for a young female who needs I/DD support in the Fletcher area. Typical schedule will be:

1. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 am to 9:00 am to help the client prepare for the day, do her morning ADLs and drive her to school.,

2. Occasional Saturday work 

3. An occasional overnight shift.
 
Activities to be provided are: leading a disabled teen in an exercise program (chair yoga, stretching, and physical therapy exercises), helping teen learn to interact in the community, and providing support for hands-on activities. This position is both rewarding and pays you to train!  This position pays $10.20 to $11.50 per hour depending on the service provided.

Direct Service Provider, Marion

Direct Service Provider: To provide one-on-one support for multiple individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in our day program located in Marion, NC.   $13.10 per hour

The right candidate will provide Community Networking Services within his community. Full COVID-19 vaccination required for this specific position. $13.75 per hour.

Qualified Professional, Brevard

Qualified Professional:  This position is responsible for the identification, processing, assessment, training, supervision, record keeping, and evaluation of all assigned Associate and Para-Professional direct support staff. Close Collaboration with the Care Coordinators and the service recipient’s families/guardians for the duration of the case assignment to ensure the quality, consistency and continuity of care are provided according to the Individuals Support Plan. Various responsibilities revolving around all case related records, invoices, and documents under their case load. From $35,568 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession, who also has four years of full-time accumulated experience in DD services with the population served; or
  • a Master’s degree in a human service field and has at least one year of post-graduate degree accumulated DD experience with the population served; or
  • a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field with at least two years of full-time, post-bachelor’s degree accumulated DD experience with the population served; or
  • a Bachelor’s degree in a field other than human services with four years of full-time, post-bachelor’s accumulated DD experience with the population served.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals, groups or organizations in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Must have the ability to effectively write progress notes that according to the prescribed format.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and able to foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule of work hours.
  • Knowledge and ability to successfully use personal computers and common office equipment.
  • Must be able to independently travel to assigned locations as needed

Direct Care Provider, Asheville

Direct Care Provider - This position or positions would be providing one on one support and companionship for a young adult male with physical, cognitive and behavioral disabilities. The right candidate(s) would assist with providing services such as Community Living and Supports and Supported Employment for one to two days during the week with an opportunity for some overnight shifts episodically throughout the year. The starting pay range varies depending of the services delivered with an average rate of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with a potential for increases over time. Preference given to males for this specific position.
